Integrated Production and Transportation Scheduling Method in Hybrid Flow Shop

Abstract The connection between production scheduling and transportation is getting closer in smart manufacturing system, both of those problems are summarized as NP-hard problems. However, only a few studies have considered them simultaneously. This paper solves the integrated problem (IPTSP) hybrid flow shops, which an extension shop (HFSP). In addition to on machines, process automated guided vehicles (AGVs) another optimization process. this problem, transfer tasks jobs performed by certain number AGVs. To solve it, we make some preparation (including establishment task pool, new solution representation evaluation), can ensure that satisfactory solutions be found efficiently while appropriately reducing scale search space. Then, effective genetic tabu algorithm used minimize makespan. Finally, two groups instances designed three types experiments conducted evaluate performance proposed method. results show method problem.
